Beginning Point: Wake Forest, NC

We've lived here since December 2005, just 4 months of marriage. I worked at In the Beginng as a pre-k teacher, and Chad worked at Chick - fil - a as a manager. Our journey here has a been a great one. We have made lifelong friendships, grown in our relationships with Christ, and have grown as husband and wife.

We really love this area and maybe one day we will return, but for now it is time to begin our new path: La Mirada, CA. Here, Chad will be working toward an MA in Philosophy of Relgion and Ethics. He will be under some great men of faith: William Lane Craig, J.P. Moreland and many others. While we are nervous and scared, as to what this move may bring, we are really excited. We know that God will take care of us in His own way. In fact, through family and truly dear friends, He provided all the money needed to move. We received financial aid money - a grant and a loan to pay for the school year. He truly is our shepherd and we shall never want (ps. 23:1). We sold all of our big furniture - our couch, loveseat, recliner, tables, entertainment center, tv, and washer and dryer. When I get our new digs set up, I hope to get pics up :o).

So for now, we say goodbye Wake Forest/Raleigh NC. Not for good, for you hold way to many great memories with some really awesome people. We will be back to continue those memories, so watch out!!!!! :o)

From Wake Forest to La Mirada

Well, our journey has begun! We have already made it to our first stop: Morganton! I hope to blog about our trip to our new home: La Mirada, CA all this week. And hopefully, there will be pics posted, too!! It is going to be a crazy trip, so be praying!!! Total trip hours: 36;
