Morganton is where Chad's mom and dad live. It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. It has tons of history, tradition, and really caring and loving people. It is my second home :o). It is also probably one of my favorite places to go. It is so quiet and restful. We've gotten to hang out with Miriam and Louis, Chad's mom and dad, and also Miriam's awesome family - Aunt Edith, Aunt Glenda, Uncle Robert, Cousin Sam, and Grandma Clara. SO much fun! We've had Tokyo's, homemade strawberry ice cream, chicken, rice and gravy (Chad's fav), homemade banana ice cream, and beer joint burgers - ha and YUM!!! We have rested up for a couple of days before the big haul!!!!
Next point: Stop at Knoxville and then on to Memphis, Monday 8/2
